Hike up Mount Tolmie at the end of the street or walk through Finnerty Gardens at UVIC, both are only a 5 minute walk away from the house. All shops, pubs, restaurants, and services are within walking distance or a 2 minute drive away to Shelbourne Plaza. The apartment is across the street from the bus stop to downtown so even without a car you can get around anywhere. By car, you are approximately a 15 minute drive to downtown, 5 minutes to one of the best beaches in Victoria, and a five minute walk to the University of Victoria. There is parking for 2 cars at the apartment.
